I am a freelance creative and cultural planning practitioner. I enjoy working in all the regions and nations of the UK, and I'm prepared to go wherever people can usefully use my skills. |

I have a wealth of experience of working with all kinds of people, helping them to develop their creativity and bring their ideas to fruition. I started my professional career as an art teacher, and ran my own studio practice at the same time. As a borough councillor for the village of Belford in Northumberland, increasingly I became convinced of the role of creativity in the regeneration of communities. This led me to make a career shift, and I have since worked as Arts Development Officer for several local authorities. |
